Overview
All investigation servicesTracing starts from the addresses and transaction hashes you provide. From the first outgoing payment we follow where each output went, how it was combined with other funds, and when it reached an address publicly attributed to a service.
The work is documentary. You receive the route as we can evidence it, with the hashes and timestamps behind every step, so an exchange compliance team or investigator can verify it rather than take our word for it.
What we examine on-chain
Every finding is anchored to a specific transaction. Where the trail becomes uncertain, the report says so rather than smoothing it over.
- The first transfer out of your wallet, and the address that received it
- Splits, consolidation and peeling-chain patterns that follow the funds
- Addresses reused across multiple victims or campaigns
- Touchpoints with exchanges, payment processors and other labelled services
Where tracing stops being reliable
Bitcoin tracing is not a magic thread. When funds enter a mixing service, a coinjoin, or a wallet that never touches an identified service, the evidential value drops sharply. We tell you where that point is in your case instead of implying the trail is complete.
- Mixers and coinjoins break the direct link between input and output
- The ledger never shows who holds a wallet or why a payment was made
- A trace can support a report; it cannot compel anyone to return funds
