Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Darek Crypto Recovery handles personal information collected through this website and the client portal. It applies to visitors, registered clients and anyone who contacts us through WhatsApp.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address and password (stored in hashed form by our authentication provider).
- Case information you submit: full name, email, phone (optional), country, scam type, blockchain or network, public wallet addresses, transaction hashes, an optional loss amount and currency, and your description of the incident.
- Evidence you upload: documents, screenshots and exports, plus filenames and file sizes.
- Correspondence: messages sent through the case portal and updates posted by the case team.
- Technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as request logs.
Information we never ask for
We never ask for private keys, seed phrases, wallet passwords, PINs, two-factor codes or exchange login credentials. Our forms do not request them and you should never send them in a message. If someone claiming to represent us asks for them, that is fraud.
Why we use it
- To assess and investigate the case you submit.
- To communicate with you about your case and post progress updates.
- To produce evidence reports and place them in your case file.
- To keep a record of the work performed and to protect against misuse of the service.
Blockchain data
Public blockchains are permanent and visible to anyone. Wallet addresses and transaction hashes you provide are already public ledger data. Anything you choose to share that links you personally to an address becomes part of your case file, and we treat it as confidential, but we cannot remove information from a public blockchain.
How your case is protected
Access to cases is restricted at the database level: a client can only see their own cases, and only administrators can see all cases. Case references alone do not grant access — access requires an authenticated account that owns the case. Evidence and reports are stored in private storage and opened through short-lived signed links rather than public URLs.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Case information is shared only with the case team working on your file, and with any third party you explicitly ask us to send it to. If you send a report to an exchange or law enforcement yourself, that disclosure is yours.
Retention
Case records are retained while the case is open and afterwards for as long as needed to keep an accurate record of the work performed. You can ask us to close a case at any time; closure does not automatically delete the record, because we may need to retain it. Ask us if you want a record deleted and we will tell you what we can do.
Your choices
- You can edit your contact details from your dashboard.
- The loss amount and currency are optional and can be left blank.
- You can ask what information we hold about you and request correction of anything inaccurate.
- You can ask us to close your case and stop work.
Cookies and local storage
The service uses the storage needed to keep you signed in and to operate the portal securely. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.
Children
The service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly accept cases from anyone under 18.
