1. 1

    Submit a case

Register, then complete the case form with the incident details, the network if you know it, any public wallet addresses or transaction hashes, and whatever evidence you hold. If something is unknown, mark it unknown — it is not a barrier.

  2. 2

    Review and scoping

We read the file and tell you what an investigation can realistically cover, what is missing, and whether the material is enough to proceed. If it is not, we say so rather than opening work that cannot lead anywhere.

  3. 3

    Investigation and tracing

We examine the material and follow publicly visible fund movements across addresses and services. Findings are written into the case file as we go, and progress updates appear in your dashboard.

  4. 4

    Evidence report

The findings are assembled into a written report with a chronology, transaction tables, method notes and a plain-language summary. It is uploaded to your case and you open it through a secure, time-limited link.

  5. 5

    Next steps

You receive guidance on where the report can be sent — exchange abuse or compliance channels, and law enforcement reporting for your jurisdiction — plus a checklist of what to include. Submitting and following up is your decision.

From you

What helps most

  • Dates and amounts, even approximate
  • Public wallet addresses and transaction hashes
  • Screenshots of the platform, chats and payment instructions
  • The name used by the platform or person who contacted you

From us

What you receive

  • A case reference and a private dashboard
  • Status and progress updates as work moves
  • A written evidence report when the work reaches that stage
  • Guidance on where and how to report

What this process does not do

It does not reverse transactions, freeze funds, identify wallet owners or guarantee that any third party will act on the report. Recovery is never guaranteed, and anyone who tells you otherwise is misrepresenting what is possible.
